On September 10, 2011 I attended the Quarterly State Marshal's Council Meeting. As usual the meeting was quite interesting. Bro. Brown instituted new rules regarding the marshal's duties with respect to conventions and other Grand events.
It is good to see the Council moving forward.

- Ill. Raymond Smith was initiated, passed and Raised in Absalom of David No. 36, in Jersey City, New Jersey. He has been a very active member in his lodge holding the following positions; Ritual Instructor, Junior Deacon, Senior Warden and eventually Worshipful Master. Within the Supreme and National Departments, he has held the positions of Educational Director in the ND Eastern Jurisdiction, and President of the Deputy Grand Master’s Council. In The M.·.W.·. Job Grand Lodge he has been the Grand Lodge Lecturer, Educational Director, 2nd Deputy Grand Master and eventually the M.·.W.·. Grand Master.
