Fellowship BBQ

Brothers, Sisters and Friends:

On May 29, the MW Job Grand Lodge held its Fellowship BBQ at May Apple Hill South Mountain Reservation in West Orange New Jersey.

Hundreds of Brothers, Sisters and their invited guests assembled at the park to enjoy the festivities.

The children enjoyed the jungle gyms, obstacle course, horseshoes, t-ball and most of all beating the brothers of District No. 1 who challenged them to a softball game. I am not sure how the Brothers of District No. 1 will live this down, but I'm sure they will find away.

A special thanks goes to the brothers who assisted in setting up the BBQ and those who monitored the children at the jungle gyms.

We would like to thank all of our Brothers, Sisters, guests, the caterer and the parks department for a wonderful day.

Fraternally,

Brothers, Sisters and Friends:

On May 22, we began with another Masonic Dollar Day. Chamblee's Restaurant in Newark was the supported small business of the Day.

After Masonic Dollar Day, I made an official visit to New Horizon No. 217 in Asbury Park.

It was an enjoyable occasion as Past Master World told many funny stories which kept me laughing most of the night.

The visit allowed me to meet 5 of New Horizons Fellow Craft Masons. These members were very excited about being in the Fraternity of Freemasonry and we are glad to have them.

This visit brings to an end the visitation period for this year. left on the Trestle Board as we bring this Masonic calendar year to a close is the Fellowship BBQ and our Annual State Convention.

Hope to see you at both events.

Brothers, Sisters and Friends:

On May 8 an official visit was made to St. James 201. Fortune would have it that I saw several brothers that I haven't seen in years.

After the discussion of the Trestle Board I fielded several questions on the building and the convention.

As always I had an enjoyable time fellowshipping with the brothers.

On May 3, I made an official visit to Alpha & Omega No. 42. Alpha & Omega has added more pressure to the Lodge of The Year Award.

Bro. Reggie Bowers performed the Burial Ceremony garnering the lodge an additional 1000 points.

With only St. James No. 201 and New Horizon No. 217 left for visitation we will be rapping up and tallying the scores.
