End of the Year

Brothers, Sisters and Friends:

This Masonic year was very hectic. With numerous official visits required for the final few months of the year we were unable to keep up with the Blog. That being said, we enjoyed our numerous visits, District Conventions as well as the Marshal Convention.

We are pleased with the performance of the Lodges and District Grand Lodges with their ritual performance.

We ended the year with our Annual BBQ. Our family and friends had a great time.

We thank the Grand Matron and the sisters of Bethune Grand Chapter for their support of the Grand Lodge and our endeavors.

Finally, we thank the brothers of this Great Grand Lodge for a wonderful year. Without you, there would be no success.

May God continue to bless you and this Grand Lodge.

Fraternally,

Educational Conference

Brothers, Sisters and Friends:

On February 25, 2012 we held our Annual Educational Conference for the Grand Lodge and Grand Chapter.

The Educational Directors Bro. Hillman and Sis. Williams did a wonderful job in coordinating the outside presenters. A special thanks to the NJ State Troopers for their presentation.

We would also like to thank those brothers who gave lectures during the separate session.

It was a job well done.

ND Eastern Jurisdiction

Brothers, Sisters and Friends:

On the weekend of February 1, thru February 4, 2012 we traveled to the National District convention where as usual, New Jersey had the most members and delegates in attendance.

The brothers did a great job with the opening of the King Solomon's Palace on Friday morning as well as performing the Memorial Ceremony. Both Brothers and Sisters performed a memorable skit during the meeting.

On Saturday morning the Brothers and Sisters performed a joint memorial ceremony for the general membership.

In the afternoon many of the brothers from NJ opened the National District Grand Lodge in due an ancient form. Bro. Ali Muslim gave a lecture in the National District Grand Lodge.

We are proud of our members who distinguished themselves during this weekend dedicated to the Past ND Grand Master Elijah Gause.

Brothers, Sisters and Friends:

Today began the Grand Master's official visits. Ironically this year began the same as last year with the first visit falling on St. James No. 37 in Newark NJ.

We had a wonderful conversation on the direction of the Grand Lodge. The lodge opened well and even performed the Burial Ceremony for two thousand points.

My hat's off to the Worshipful Master Bro. Andre Jenkinson for leading the lodge in the right direction.

Brothers, Sisters and Friends:

On this day the Most Worshipful Job Grand Lodge celebrated our Annual St. John's Day celebration. The service was held at the New Zion Baptist Church. The brothers marched in a parade to the church. The sea of brothers was very impressive.

We would like to thank the Elizabeth Police Department for the escort, District No. 3 for hosting the ceremony, the New Zion family for welcoming us in their church, all the visitors, the sisters of Bethune Grand Chapter for their large turn out and the brothers of the Most Worshipful Job Grand Lodge for the standing room only crowd.

This was definitely a ceremony for the ages. Job well done, New Jersey!

Brothers, Sisters and Friends:

On this weekend a large delegation from New Jersey traveled to Troy Michigan for the Annual Marshal's Convention.

The New Jersey Marshals were standing tall and looking good. We had an excellent time in Michigan.
