(no subject)

Brothers, Sisters and Friends,

On Sunday June 27, I was unable to attend the Grand Joint Council's Church Service due to my employment obligations.

Nevertheless, I would like to commend the Grand Joint Council President Bro. Mainor, Vice President Sis. Martin, their officers and all the Presidents and Vice Presidents of the Grand Joint Council Department. It is my understanding that it was a very good service.

Finally, I would like to thank District Master Vincent Terry for representing the Grand Lodge at this event.

Fraternally,

Brothers, Sisters and Friends:

The weekend of June 25-26 the Grand Matron and I attended Ishmael Grand Temple and Diane Grand Court's Annual Shrine Convention.

We had visitors from New York and Pennsylvania. These visitors included the National District Imperial Potentate and New York State's Grand Commander-in-Chief.

Noble Joe Barr gave a great lecture on the benefit of prayer. He also closed out his lecture with Martin Luther King Jr.'s I Have a Dream speech from memory.

We had a great convention and hope to see you next year.

Brothers, Sisters and Friends:

On June 19, the District Master's Council President Christopher Joseph, PGM Alford, District Master Eric Tennent and I attended Clifford Alford's 13th Annual Scholarship Dinner.

Once again, it was a very successful affair as they celebrated the achievements of the two college bound students and their families.

Bro. Stevens was awarded the brother of the year award and Bro. Watkins received the Worshipful Master's Award.

Keep up the good work.

Brothers, Sisters and Friends:

June 3-6 we held our 55th Annual Grands Lodge Convention at the Somerset Double Tree Hotel.

It has definitely gone down in history as the best Grand Lodge Convention ever. This was not because of the Grand Master or Grand Matron, it was all due to the brothers and sisters of the M.·.W.·. Job Grand Lodge and Bethune Grand Chapter.

We had visitors from New York, Connecticut, Texas, Michigan and Pennsylvania. Our visitors were truly impressed with the convention. They have paid you numerous accolades and you deserve them all.

Thank you for the great work.

May God Bless you and may he continue to bless the M.·.W.·. Job Grand Lodge and Bethune Grand Chapter.
