On May 17, the Grand Matron and I visited the Grand Joint Council's Officers' Meeting. The Grand Matron and I listened to the planning of their Scholarship Gala as well as a preview of the Grand Joint Council President's Annual Report.
We are very pleased with the work of the Grand Joint Council, Bro. Mainor, Sis. Martin, the officers and all the Presidents and Vice Presidents of the State Councils, keep up the good work.

- Ill. Raymond Smith was initiated, passed and Raised in Absalom of David No. 36, in Jersey City, New Jersey. He has been a very active member in his lodge holding the following positions; Ritual Instructor, Junior Deacon, Senior Warden and eventually Worshipful Master. Within the Supreme and National Departments, he has held the positions of Educational Director in the ND Eastern Jurisdiction, and President of the Deputy Grand Master’s Council. In The M.·.W.·. Job Grand Lodge he has been the Grand Lodge Lecturer, Educational Director, 2nd Deputy Grand Master and eventually the M.·.W.·. Grand Master.
